Wabash Terminal
The London & Port Stanley Railroad interchanges with four
steam roads along its 24 mile length. Here it skirts past the
back of the Wabash engine servicing terminal at the north end of
St. Thomas. This facility dates back to 1873, but the L&PS
still has priority at the diamond, since its tracks were laid
through here 17 years earlier.
These shots were taken in 1923 at various locations around the
terminal area showing the roundhouse, sandhouse, turntable and
the coaling tower in the distance.
